To weathermen, Waterford is in the 'sunny' South East because it’s the sunniest and driest part of Ireland. To people who play golf it is the “Sunshine Circuit” due to the wealth of championship courses on offer. The courses selected in this region offer a great range and variety of challenges to both the seriously committed and the relaxed holiday golfer. There are a number of prestigious courses in the area including Faithlegg Golf Course, Waterford Castle and Mount Juliet.
